Top Three Ways Grandparents Digitally Connect With Grandchildren
Previous generations of families used to live within the same town. Since families now live further apart from each other the eMarketer January 15 article, “Tech-Savvy Grandkids Keep Grandparents Young” reveals that the top three ways Grandparents stay in touch with grandchildren are: email, text, and Skype. “Among this group, nearly half said that technology gave them the ability to communicate more with their grandchildren than they did with their own grandparents, and one-fifth even spent more time communicating with their grandchildren online than offline.”
